Edf/scottish £ southern
I had to have my electric meter moved due to it being a health and safety issue.
All relevent parties were informed and paid and dates were sent for excavation , jointing and reconnection.
On the 7th September 09 I had the excavation done. On the 9t SEptember at 8am I was disconnected and was then waiting to be reconnected between 1pm and 6pm the same day. 6 pm came and went phoned supplier who CONFIRMED appointment was set for that date. I was then informed that nothing could be done and I would have to be put on 24 hour emergency call out for reconnection. After 28 hours with no electic and 40 hours of no sleep I was reconnected the folowing day. Now no-body is taking the blame for the mix up and blaming each other. I have had an offer of compensation for Scottish Southern that I feel is inadequate and not a word from EDF. Who is responsible and where do I go from here.?

Your power was disconnected at 8am and not reconnected until 12pm the next day?
Did an engineer come out on an emergency call out for you to get it reconnected?0 -
Thats correct. Although an appointment for reconnection was for the same day disconnected. An engineer arrived approx 11-45am the following day who said he was from the emergency0
