cleaning bathroom

The mark has gone!!! Victory!!!!
How did I get rid of it?
Err... I'm not so sure
Having read your answers (except the pumice stone one which was posted after I started the cleaning job) I approached the bathroom armed with a small bucket containing:
-lemon slice
-old toothbrush
-viakal
-stardrops
-soda crystals (for the 'grinding' effect)
-sponge-scourer
.... oh and the toothpaste was already in the bathroom of course.
I then proceeded to attack the dirty mark with all of the above in various combinations and eventually... TA-DA! It's gone!
The method was non scientific.... I just gave it all I had.... but who cares, it's the result that counts. Thank you all for the suggestions!
