Monday 28th September - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Good morning gang
Welcome to any new posters....come in and join us
Booo to getting up in the dark....it's too hard for me:rotfl: So, a quick cuppa and put my face on while I write this post at the same time....multi-tasker, me
Anyway, not much on today - the usual work, home, dinner....you know;)
List for today then:

Milly - thanks for starting the thread. I agree about the getting up in the dark thing, it's horrible. It still looks pretty dark outside here now, although thankfully not too cold.

Brokemedic - welcome to the thread. I agree, it is such a good/weird feeling not having the usual end of month panic. Also, I think since my LBM it has been the first time in my life I haven't been worried about checking my bank balance! I did manage to find out how to upload pictures onto this site and posted Meggy dog onto yesterdays thread.
Today we have inspector coming from LEA to make sure we are educating our son properly. Haven't really prepared anything. Ds said he would talk to her show her some stuff off his laptop, show the photographs he entered into a competion and tell her about the courses he is starting and the courses he wants to get onto next year. Said I could tell her about how he will be tested for his maths and english, and taking his ecdl.
Why was I worried. He has obviously given it more thought than me:rotfl:
Weather looks nice here, warm. I'm not dressed yet and little dog is still asleep in bed, actually just in one of her many beds, sometimes she sleeps on the kids beds. She is some times called Meggy Tart, because she will sleep with anybody in anybodys bed given the chance (not in mine though)
Well off to find some clothes:eek:, probably all in conservatory waiting to be ironed, they will have a long wait, I rarely do ironing.
They will just have to get themselves folded up and put away.My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
- loving the image of 'tart' dog - Peedie has bed head this morning and he's the same he will sleep on anyones bed (normally mine!)
