Laptop Choice - opinions please!

After far too many BSOD's on my desktop I have decided to go for a laptop. I've seen two on Tescos website and wondered if anyone had any advice/opinions. I mainly email and surf, don't download/upload and don't play games or watch videos. I need it to last as long as possible so am looking to get as much for the pennies as poss! Thanks very much.

bsod's are usually software related, not always, but usually, so a reinstall of windows may cure it.

Thanks for that. I think they are being caused by a graphics driver which, when I tried to download a new one it told me I already had the newest version available. The other cause is 'attempting to read to an illegal IO port'.

The desktop is about 7 years old and just gets slower and slower until it crashes, and the memory can't be increased any more!
