where else can i look for a house

  • Glad to hear a change of agent worked. Are there different agents approaching different markets? What I mean is that where I used to live some agents actively targetted wealthy Londoners to tempt them into buying houses as holiday homes in the area. Maybe your new agent is tapped into a different market, or covers a different town the other one didn't.

    I think it was a mixture of
    1) first agent was dreadful. Although they had excellent web presence they didn't respond to enquiries took rubbish photos and lots more beside.
    2) I used Savills and they are worldwide (although paid a premium for doing so). They get 93% of their custom from the internet so I don't think they acively target a particular market
    3) My house is correctly priced and of course gorgeous!
    4) Used the help of the fab people on this forum (licky bum bum yeah)
