ordered car today - worried i did wrong thing

i ordered a car today, with scrappage deal. signed the order form but no other paper work. i have to take all deposit and scrappage details in tomorrow, and the car can be registered (its sat at the dealers). he offered me a cgreat deal, as he was quite straight and said he needed to sell 3 more cars by end of month, so could offer me this deal.
I am now worried I have done the wrong thing and would be better putting my £107 a month elsewhere.
If I phone in the morning, first thing, do you think i would be able to cancel my order before they ring upDVLA for reg number?
Thank :o

What type of car is it? Do you really need a new one?
Check Parkers or some other comparison site to see if you really have got such a 'good deal'. £107 doesn't seem like a lot of money to be paying on a car? Depends what it is though.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • its a 107, it is a good deal as i did all my research first but no i could probably manage for a while without anew one - which is why i am now panicing!! stupid i know!

What is different now to what it was when you ordered it.

Do you like the car, is it what you want.

Or are you just nervous about the commitment.

Sleep on it and see what you feel like in the morning.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Youre even saying now its a good deal, stop worrying,
not stupid, just natural. A 107 is a great little car, bet its just the colour you want, give over panicking, enjoy swanning about it your brand new car - get excited about it. I went through exactly the same thing last week, ordered a brand new flame Red Corsa, panicked, God this car cost me twice as much as my first house, panic, panic. Stick with my old one, panic, panic. Picked the new car up and now its brilliant, the only thing is nobody recognises me at the moment in my new car so Im waving and they just look at me stupidly
wondering who this mad woman is waving at them till they recognise me
    at the last minute.:rotfl::rotfl:
Like i say, stop worrying and enjoy.............:j

I own a Toyota Aygo, which is exactly the same as the 107 and the Citroen C1 apart from the rear body shape.

It's a great car, extreeeeemly economical, and a grand total of £35 for 12 months road tax!!

The only reason I chose the Aygo was because I have no Peugeot or Citroen dealers near me, but they probably drive exactly the same.

Definately worth it, enjoy your car :D

  • We've just taken advantage of the scrappage deal, got rid of hubby's 10 year old Puma, and downsized for the 107. Makes a huge difference in costs - petrol consumption down, road tax a mere 35 quid a year. A friend of ours has the Aygo, and whilst they are different makes, they are exactly the same car. As others have said above me, it's definately worth it :)
  • Aren't the Aygo, the 107 and the C1 all made in the same factory somewhere in Eastern Europe??

I have just sold my Aygo Sport and i have to agree with djb215 it was a great little car, zippy, economical. The only problem we had in the four years we had it was the tiny boot. No other drawbacks.
