What should we do?

Just after other people's perspectives please. We think that our neighbours have built their extension too high, by almost a metre at the highest point however we have recently put our house on the market, got and accepted an offer and the sale is progressing.
We're worried now on several points.
1) Will the vendor's surveyor / solicitor look at the plans and realise it's too high?
2) Are we morally / legally obliged to mention our concerns to the vendors?
3) Due to their fiddling around with the mains water pipe on our side of the side return whilst digging their foundations we're now concerned as there seems to be a damp patch above where they dug up our paving stone ( and then replaced with concrete without our permission  ). Is this likely to come up in the survey?
We're just so worried in case the sale falls through for some reason. Once the plans have been approved, which they were with no objection from us, does the planning office check that the work is the same as what was submitted?
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

1] I don't think so, highly unlikely I'd say
2] Not if you're not asked directly - and nobody'd ever come up with that question
3] It might do - and if it does, then get a surveyor round to ascertain it's them and set the process in place for them to pay for it.
I am not sure if they check, if it's not immediately obvious. The man that does the signing off will be checking the build is legal/safe - and not if it matches the original PP.0 -
So would you just suggest sitting tight, keeping schtum with fingers and toes crossed then?!0
