I sent a perfect video in a jiffy bubble bag (i have always had positive feedback re. packaging). However, she is saying it arrived broken and won't play. I had a certificate of posting, what should I do now. I am miffed as it left me in perfect conditon. Any help much appreciated.

Get a form from the post office, and claim for damaged goods. She will need to retain the item and packaging and the form will tell you what to do with it all. If you sell a lot, it's worth having one or two of these to hand as the form also covers lost items.patchkipper wrote:I sent a perfect video in a jiffy bubble bag (i have always had positive feedback re. packaging). Tell her once you have received it back and checked its faulty you will refund her - but not until she has returned it - then if it isnt faulty its upto you whether you refund the postage or how much of the money you refund her!Weight Loss - 102lb0

A faulty item should have all the original item cost and post and packing refunded. If the buyer paid by paypal that's what she will get anyway, and paying by any other method should not make a difference.

Ask for the item back and replace it if you have another one. I only do refunds if I can't supply another new one.0 -

If the buyer returns the item and it is faulty you should also refund them the return P&P on top of either replacing the item or refunding the full price paid.
If the dispute results in a paypla claim however, paypal make the buyer pay for return P&P.
