I have just received my credit card statement from The Cooperative Bank. On the message section of the statement it states that I can add credit card plus to my account for £8.50 a month. Anyone know what benefits this includes?

The Co-operative Bank is launching a new family travel and lifestyle benefit package which can be added to any Co-operative Bank Credit Card product offering customers an opportunity to choose benefits to suit their personal needs.

The new benefits are available for a monthly subscription of 8.50 pounds Sterling and could save customers a massive 500 pounds Sterling* and will be available from Thursday 23 April.

20% off home insurance provided by The Co-operative Insurance D
40% off a family holiday E
20% off a family ticket to the London Aquarium F

In addition, they allow customers to add one of the following three optional bundles to their package:

- Option 1: Gadget
Insurance cover for MP3, cameras, laptops, camcorders, SatNav and
portable DVD players and games consoles etc. worth up to 179.98 pounds
Sterling.

- Option 2: Safeguard
Cover against ID theft and resolution package, including key recovery
service and handbag & contents insurance.

- Option 3: Traveller
Four free airport lounge passes per year, Airport Angel annual
membership and a passport and luggage recovery service worth up to 129.50
pounds Sterling.
