I'm in, although we've got a week off work so might be all over the place doing stuff. I did most of the kitchen after our roast at teatime so I've just got to vacuum tomorrow and S&S it and I should be able to claim a star (it's a kitchen/diner).

DH is collecting DD2 from the bus station after her holiday so I'm waiting to hear if she is OK.

Just a quick one before I settle down with a cup of tea and watch t.v. for a while, before an early night.

I'm back from sunny Devon, ooh it was lovely apart from the 7 hour journey there - 1 hr of that was sitting still on the M25..ugh!! Thankfully it only took 4 hours to get home..much better.

I've already done three loads of washing and have another 5 to do, and how come my house looks like a bomb has dropped on it. I left it looking really nice, and it was lovely to walk into but now it looks terrible :( I think the dogs have been playing with their toys and depositing them everywhere..worse than children!!

*Happy Birthday* for anyone who has had a birthday while I was away, gentle *hugs* for poorlies and poorly families..

Had an absolutely glorious time on hols, just a shame it passed by so quickly. Cottage was beautiful and village was in the middle of nowhere, only neighbours were cows, sheep and pheasants!! We went down some really narrow roads, at least I think they were roads more like dirt tracks if you ask me..they even had grass growing down the middle of them..oh and pheasants walking up and down them..lol

Anyway back to the grindstone tomorrow..

    Hope everyone is well :)

    Hey all,

Im still rotten with the cold and can barely breathe for coughing, but I want to be in again this week!

I didnt get all my kitchen finished last week. I sorted out one of the freezers, which didnt need much defrosting, so it was easy but I still have the chest freezer to look at.

I also need to finish my larder cupboard, but all in all Im glad its had an absolute gutting. The dining room is much better too, although my pile of filing/shredding is getting smaller, there is still a way to go! But its going in the right direction.

For me this week it will be Living room, ironing  (well thats it - Ive said it now, means ive got to sodding do it!) and the dreaded cupboard under the stairs.......[cue high-pitched 'psycho' style scream!)

Its wasnt too bad a while ago....as in weeks, maybe even a couple of months ago........but true to form, everything has been getting dumped in there!

Im also going to tidy up the garden, get the patio furniture put away etc.

So am off to sort out my list in bed and try to get rid of this cold so I can ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I hate being unwell, I dont have the time!!!)

Lots of love n hugs to you all xxx

PS sorry for moaning about something so trivial x

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie

Busy week so not sure how I will get on but I could really do with getting all the lists done. Parental inspection at the weekend, not that they would criticise, or indeed mind, but it matters to me.
