I mean, that I simply do not trust anyone else to walk my dogs for me ( I have three rescue/very specific needs )

Plan for the worst: have something in place assuming you will have triplets, by c-section and won't be able to walk for 6 months - that way when you have 1, it goes swimmingly, you're back jogging the week after you'll think it's all a doddle - rather that than the other way round

Triplets.....now that is a thought to make me cross my legs regardless of if I had pets or not :rotfl:0 -

I've no real experience of dog walking, I've only ever walked my sister's family lab on occasion and he just shuffles along side us and will do whatever he is asked - half the effort is getting him out the door for a walk really
Good luck with the baby stuff - on the right track with the folic acid - I'm sure it will all work out with the dogs/baby when the time comes

hehehe
the eldest is a walking gob..barks (high pitched at anything) gets over excited really easily
middle (horrific past) hates all terriers, doesnt like other dogs approaching her while on lead, has to be kept "entertained" while off lead or she goes self employed (unless with me)
Youngest another growly gobby little spanielKent Bird!:beer:0 -

Eldest and youngest sound similar to my children! Good luck

Maybe plan to make the dogs walks your 'me time' and arrange someone to have the baby while you escape. This is quite important for new mum's . You will need to allow time to get your energy back though.
The lack of sleeps makes the physcial recovery take much longer than you'd expect.
As a midwife I always advise , never ever leave dogs alone with baby, however much you trust them. Also make sure they are treated for fleas and worms with the stuff from the vet, the supermarket stuff isn't always strong enough.
I think pets are a really good experience for babies, a good point of conversation with them. Out of my three eldest one's first word was the dogs name, little one said "dog" and the middle one's first word ?? "NO!" :rotfl:
