well chutneys are part of using stuff from your garden...i didnt know what thread to put it on so thought that i would put it on here and someone would help

I know - I make them every year......but recipes are generally kept in the old style section - just trying to let you know why you aren't getting any responses.

as Zazen says, there is more info on recipes & food tips on the Old Style board .Sometimes the boards cross over but it's always useful to check there - especially if the ingredients are ones that most people wouldn't grow

okay thanks i will have a look and see what i can come up with
this is my first year of chutneys and jams
ive just made some rhubarb and orange jam and have beetroot ready for making into chutney too....thought i have over 120 jars in the cupboard....i wont have to make more for years..lol

One of the cafes here sells rhubarb & orange jam, but only in May, when the owner tells me, the rhubarb is perfect Apparently, he got it out of a magazine but originally it came from Gloria Hunniford's granny! it is absolutely beautiful.
