Gatwick Airport and Parking - please help

Please help I have read nearly all the threads on here and feeling more puzzled than ever in making a decision.
My husband and I are flying out of Gatwick on Monday morning early on 9th Nov and returning late evening on Mon 23 Nov, we are looking for a hotel to stay over on the 8th Nov and 15 days parking then on 23 Nov to stay overnight again. Meaning we would have to make 2 separate bookings. I was looking at the Menzies Hotel and was wondering if anyone had used this Hotel or anyone please offer my any advice on where would be best to stay. Looking to pay no more than £200 and must either have a bar or somewhere near where you can get food and drink on the evening.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn at beginning of September. £103 including 15 days parking. Nice bar and restaurant. Nice comfy, quiet rooms. 24hr transfers to and from terminal taking about 5mins. Booked it through Quidco too so will get some cashback. We've stayed at the Mercure a couple of times but they seem to cram in as many cars as possible, on every available piece of space now, so wouldn't be happy leaving car there anymore.
