The battery was dead again this morning.

I phoned the dealer this morning, and he thinks it's the battery. He is changing it for me on Monday. I think it's more than that, but I'll let him find the fault his way! Just a pity it's an hours drive away.

I had a better look at the alternator today in the light, and the alternator looks like it has been changed recently.

Sometimes a dodgy alternator can take out a battery!

    Thought I'd post an update.

The Battery was changed, didn't help. Dealer took it back and changed the alternator, still no luck! Ended up have a new wiring loom installed, the alternator was over charging and frying everything. It's been changed a week now and seems to have cured the problem. Cost to dealer - £80 battery, £260 for wiring loom and labour. Fingers crossed!
