I have just started a blog on Blogspot.com and need help with posting pictures. I can upload them, size the pictures and place them on the right, centre or left BUT I want to know how to make a montage of photos say 1 block incorporating 9 small pictures in rows of 3 with 3 pictures in each row. Also I cant move the photos around once i have uploaded them
Any help would be so appreciated

I'm not familiar with blogspot, so they might offer an easy way of doing what you want.
Failing that, then there might be an easy way of doing it with free image hosts.
Failing that, you'll need to know a bit about HTML and construct a 3x3 HTML table or CSS div structure.
Someone else might be able to suggest a method on the first two - anyone?
If not, I might be able to help.0 -
Thanks so much for your reply. I have tried on Blogspot and saw no way to get the groups of photos I want to produce but, yet know it is possible because others using the same blog website have exactly what I want.
Thanks for your offer of help I would be ever so grateful for it or to anyone else who might be reading this who knows what I need to doTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
I don 't know blogspot, I'd be looking for the html and then creating a table.
However, in desperation, here's something a non-techie could try (and I mean try as I have no idea if it would work).
If you can get the pictures into a table in MS Word, then you could copy/paste that into Blogspot and see if it works. If that doesn't work, then print screen it from MS Word and drop it into Paint and crop it. Then upload that as one image to blogspot.
I know the above isn't useful, but it is thinking outside the box a bit just in case things get hard.
Good luck0 -
pastures new is correct. i use wordpress and overcame the same issue by using word. just create a table of the required size then copy and paste it into the blogger editor.
Then add your pics into each cell, switch to Html edit and change table border to "0" to remove the lines of the table.0 -
Right
Thanks so much for this advice. I wish I had my life over again and was savvy and confident BUT I am determined to crack this so will give it a try now. Thanks to you bothTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Sorry to be such a useless techie. I have managed to get a grid but now need to resize the photos to fit the grid I have made in the Word Document. When I insert them at the moment the space grows to fit the picture instead of the picture fitting the grid. Thanks againTry and do a good deed every day.0

click on the image and drag it to the size you want, then remove the table.
you are left with an aligned row and column of images.
or you can use this http://www.imageoptimizer.net/Home.aspx to resize images before uploading0 -
Got all the problems sorted by using Picassa which because it is linked with Google allows you to share photos etc. Thanks to everyoneTry and do a good deed every day.0
