Hi, sorry I can't help, didn't want to read and run. I'm surprised you've not had any replies - maybe try posting a similar thread on the debt free wannabee forum. That's sometimes a bit busier and you should get more people having a look.

Are your adult children still in education? If not I'm not really sure how it works regarding still claiming expenses for them.

so what do I do about the 15 year old cat, am I supposed to have him put down, he has been on cheaper drug for a couple of years but they have stopped working, the vet says this is the only thing, and now he has it he is really well.

there is no money in the life insurance I have only had it 4 months, when realised I had no insurance, other half has life insurance with work.

we have gone ahead and put the paperwork in to end our IVA, we have offered £6000 full & final, i think we still owe about £13000, so we wait and see, but the alternative is bankruptcy.
  • We had our F & F offer meeting today and it was approved at £6000

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup
  • yes, the three years we spent on the IVA have taught us a lot about budgeting, I now know every day how much money we have AFTER all of our living costs, we have learnt that some people and credit just don't mix, so from now on we will be saving for the things we want or need.
