Warners Hotels

Would like to know peoples experiences with Warners Hotels especially Sinah Warren.

We have been to Littlecote in Berkshire and loved it,also Gunton Hall Suffolk which was ok, but Corton in Suffolk was a very tired looking Holiday camp.......Much prefer the Listed houses in general but we've booked a weekend at Sinah Warren for an Abba and Bay City rollers Tribute weekend.........lol Bring it on...:D

  • I've been to thoresby hall lots of times and love it. Have introduced many friends to it and they all love it too. Talking to other guests who have stayed at many warner hotels they all seem to think thoresby is the best.

I went to Thoresby Hall last year, and it was lovely. Most guests seemed to be in their seventies though. There were hardly any younger people there.

We were at the Warners down the road from Sinah Warren last week and we had a look around it whilst there.

We have been to lots of different Warners (Stately Home Hotels and lesser accommodation) and I would suggest that Sinah Warren falls somewhere in between Littlecote and Gunton Hall. It is far superior to the latter and much nearer to the former although I could not comment on the state of the rooms.

But the site has lovely grounds and were a pleasure to walk around. Inside seemed to be as good.

One thing to note is that if you get tired of what is going on in the hotel then the site is quite remote and a car needed to get to anywhere else.

Regards guests at the hotel, Emma37 is quite right although Sinah Warren had a few more younger people.

Wonder if I can ask a question :D

Been to Littlecott , had a Royal Room , wonderful .

Are the Thoresby hall 'royal' rooms as good.
We want the wow factor , we haven't reached the zimmer frame stage yet and
know how these places are very much geared to the more mature guest.

I had a Signature room which was great. I don't know if they do Royal rooms, but their Ambassador rooms seem to be their best ones:

My mistake , the term is Historic Rooms

To those who have been to Littlecott , the rooms are in the old house and are WOW!

    Thanks Emma,
we tend to go for weekends rather than midweek(seem to be nearly all retired people) and generally themed weekends.

We are hoping as its an ABBA and Bay City Rollers weekend it will be youngsters like us:D.

We are having a Royal Room this time, but usually go for Signature rooms..
