:mad: had a letter last week with a settlement of 2k got a cheque today 4 850????????? what do i do now? i will b ringing them monday but has anyone had any experience of this happening?

    Hi there.

    So they offered originally £2K and they sent you the cheque of £850?

    I would defo ring them in case they are sending another one out separately, so hold on to that cheque, so not put it into your account yet until you get some answers on this, good luck, please also let us know how you get on.

    If they say it is that of £850 you will be receiving only, ask them what the £2K is in aid of.;)

    Phoned the company.........was their mistake and are sending out another cheque for the difference !!

    Has the rest been paid against a loan or credit card? Who was this with?
