Open University course grant

I know I get a payment of £260 in a few weeks time, but im looking to do a second course in the same accidemic year would i get the course grant for the second course or not?

    sorry but no you won't, you get one study grant per academic year

    I am studying buiness studies with accounting for my degree the course im on atm is buisiness functions in context I wanted to do a second course which overlaps by 3 months but without the second grant i couldnt afford the train fees for the day schools and tutorials and i think they are essential to study imo esp when the limit to your day times is cbeebies

    It's definitely a no. Get in touch about the access to learning fund.

    i am in England, and it is definitely no - only one per academic year.

    Also, the childcare help (if it is relevant to you) states up to £1000 per 60point course. A bit misleading, as in my experience, it is up to £1000 per academic year. I have not managed to get them to fund more than that depsite doing 2 x 60 (oct start then feb start) for 2 years running.
