ING advertise all over the place their ING direct account at 3.2%. With today's newspaper, in amongst the "fallout" is an ING leaflet to apply for one of these but at only 3%
It says of the three ways to apply, one is of course online, at which point people will see that it is 3.2%. But if people use the leaflet to complete their details it will presumably be 3%
I was thinking of maybe closing mine which I opened in Jan 09 (and pays 2.67% gross) and re-open another new one. But maybe the rate is coming down seeing this leaflet?

either way 3% and 3.2% is better than 2.67%. Depends on the nominal amount of your savings and how much you value your time.0
