    sorry to be thick (thats the problem with bad genetics) will I be charged at 0% for the balance transfer to my current account? I know I tried a similar thing with NatWest and they said that it would be charged at my normal rate, with no 0%.
    The interest rate is 0%, even for cash transfers done via their telephone CSAs or your online secure area...NOT FOR CASH ADVANCES MADE AT AN ATM.

    You've just cleared and closed a Virgin card (run by MBNA). Surely you've read the T&Cs at some point in your relationship with them? And you must be familiar with their website (maybe through the initial application or subsequent online management)?
