Mainstream choice but not Flybe!

in Credit cards
Hi all I read a thread here about Flybe sometimes giving a card to people who have adverse history, so I got a bit impatient and applied 2 months before my CCJ was due to come off and got Decilned.
As this is not an option for me to apply to now that my files are clean who does everyone see as my best option for "mainstream" as I have Cap1 and Vanquis already.. Tescos? any ideas or others.

No1 for a month or two mate - lol. Chill....
Just because it is off the CRA does not mean it will be so fast to drop off The Registry Trust Ltd (an independent organisation set up under the control of the Department for Constitutional Affairs)....
Have a mooch at this mate: #35
So don't go applying like daft the day you think it falls off..... give it a couple of weeks then apply for your credit files, each one, and check it has been removed.
If so, and everything else is in order (i.e. no baddies and less than 6 searches in the last 6mths) then apply to your main bank first and foremost - then maybe Barclaycard or Vanquis or Tesco even..... forget the main stoozing cards like Virgin/MBNA cos you'll waste a search... you ought to hope that Sygma never added a cifas or that puts you back a year i.e. on the application if, when asked, you stated you never had a CCJ they will add a cifas for fraud. Be warned mate.2010 - year of the troll

Thanks NID great info which I will heed! The flybe application didn't ask or even mention anything about CCJ'S as far as I can remember? I will get my files in Nov/Dec and maybe apply about Jan. Thanks again.
Did Get Vanquis with a rate of 34% tho (which I thot for them was good) that was 8 weeks ago.0 -

Mate then deffo wait til the new year - that way you'll have 5/6 months of green [0]'s with Vanquis - then apply to your bank and a couple others all on the same day lol...... maybe your bank, Tesco and Barclaycard or similar......
Obviously if you bank with RBS then dont apply to Tesco....
You've tried so hard, last thing you want to do is start a spiralling credit search history - just wait those last 3 months and you'll be straight back to prime - ruin it now and then you wait a year! I know what i'd be doing....2010 - year of the troll

I remeber back in late 2007 - to the day all the remaining adverse came of my file , I must have applied for half a dozen companies at once the day after - refused for everyone.0
