how often do YOU submit meter readings?

Hey :j have finally got my utility bills set up, submitted readings a fortnight ago and have paid so was wondering how often i should submit meter readings from now on? im signed up online to BG so its very easy to submit them when and if i need to

So how often do you?

I give them a reading once a month.
It records them all and improves the graphs you can look at on the BG site.

I pay 3 monthly for my bill and tell them as soon as I get my bill thorugh the post.

BG send you a reminder e-mail when they actually need a read from you (which is every 3 months).

I do it about once a month because i've been through every single utility company over the years and ended up having hassle with estimates or reviewing the direct debit to find i was under paying!

It took me a long time to learn i had to be proactive no matter what the new company promised about low prices at the time. I was naive and now have debts with a few of them.

I submit one every month. I take a meter reading for myself every few days though, just to see how efficiently my heat pump is performing.

I do it on the first of every month. It makes me more aware of what we're using that way. Not that it makes much difference?:o

I get bills every 6 months, so can i still give an online reading every month and would it really make any difference if i did?

I submit mine monthly online although they don't adjust any of the figures because of it it just updates the little graph that shows how much used this year compared to last.

I am just in process of moving suppliers and must remember to write down the figures from last year so I can keep an eye on it. I have managed to get my gas and electric down by about 25% so far and monthly readings compared to last years is certainly helping keep me motivated.
