I have been emailed details of a new cashback site, mrscashback.com, which has the advantage that you can download software which means that when you visit a site where you can earn cashback, you get a pop up to remind you that you can earn cashback through mrscashback.com. This would definitely be an asset to me as I often forget to check with the different cashback sites whether the relevant retailer is on their lists. The downside is, however, that when you click to register with them, unless you have an "activation code" you need to purchase membership of the site for £29.95!! This I am not prepared to do, so I wondered if anyone had an activation code they could let me have as presumably this allows you to register for free.

I recieved an email from these guys the other day with the code below
CC16998
Since recieving this i have passed to my family etc and it seems to work.0 -
The code did work, but still best to upgrade to get the full cash back.. for example Zurich insurance on a free activation code will only pay you £32.50 cash Back, but on full membership you get £65..!:T :j :rotfl:0

You can get £65 cashback from Zurich insurance through www.quidco.com without paying a penny.
I really can't understand why anyone would even consider paying to be a member of a cashback site, when there are excellent sites like Quidco operating on a co-operative basis and giving 100% cashback back for only a £5 admin fee.

And there are plenty out there where you don't pay anything. Quidco is not free if you have to pay a £5 admin fee.
But each to there own.

yeah, but £5 is a hell of a lot less than the stupid mrscashback rip off.
You'd need to be seriously stupid to favour mrscashback over quidco or tcb.
Each to their own stupidity more like. The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
