Big praise for Clinton Cards

Last month I bought 2 Itunes £15 gift cards from Clinton Cards, they were on a 2 for £20 offer.
Anyway last night we came to use them and I rubbed the panel off mine and some of the numbers came off as well so I emailed Apple the details I had on the card to see if they could do anything.
In the meantime my wife went to use hers and it came up that it wasn't activated.
I had binned the receipt ages ago as I thought I wouldn't need it with it only being gift cards.
This morning I had received an email back from Apple saying the card with that serial number hadn't been activated either, so I thought I would try my luck and ring the Clinton branch.
The manager answered and she said that she was off on the day that I bought them but there were 2 cards in their safe with activation codes.
It turns out that after I had left the shop they realised that they hadn't activated them so they put 2 more aside just in case I came back in with the original 2. So not only have they activated them they have replaced the one where the numbers had rubbed off.
Massive thumbs up to Clinton Cards as I really thought I had lost £20 and would just have put it down to experience.

That's what I expected to be honest... Just goes to show that not all retailers are the same even though I expect them to be.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

That surprises me having met Mr Clinton Burhouse on a few occasions, hence why I never spend a penny in his shops.0

I have to say that this is what you call customer service - at least some companies care, no matter how big they are!0
