depending on the age of the car when the maufactures warranty has ran out then the chances are a used car warranty is 9 times out of 10 a total waste of money they cover only the basics they rarely cover ware and tare which causes most faults they dont cover tyres/brakes/clutches if you have a turbo fitted you need extra cover for that, i could go on, if you keep on top of your servicing then any fault that occurs will most likey not be covered by any warranty anyway.. there is alway a get out clause for them and all they need to say is the famous words 'fair ware and tare' and your stuffed any way because these words can be applyed to almost any car related fault.0
