partner has shares in standard life and wants rid of them, he has 800 and i think a half year payment is due soon, he wants rid of them and as asked me to find out how

are they held electronically with standard life?
they should have a trading service presumably for such holders? alternatively transfer holding to a broker and sell them
if they are held on certificates, most brokers will be able to trade them for you0 -
I think if you go to their website and follow the links you will be able to sell them0

Get your last letter about the shares and it'll have an id number to register you on their website and eventually give the option to sell over the internet. 800 is about £1600 and the div paid 16th nov is 4.15p or £33.20
