Tried open office but didn't seem to recognise publisher files??

You can get "Office 2007 Home and Student" for about £55 from Amazon which can be installed on three PCs. Downside is that it doesn't contain Publisher...

Don't think that you'll find anything other than Publisher which will open them.

Hmm..just ordered laptop so will have to make a decision soon I think the best ones seem to be Office Ultimate or Enterprise 2007 - just need to find the best deal.

Just buy it from software4students, register as a student, and choose your local college, they dont check that you go there :-) thats how i got mine
