Hi all, just an update, we had some good news this week, Halifax awarded hubby approx £1600 which included 8% interest and removed ppi from loan, just waiting for them to send new loan through with terms on before we accept though. What a result,and hardly any effort! Thanks to Martin and all the experts, keep on claiming everyone;)

Well done - I have noticed from reading all the threads that HBOS seem to be one of the fairer banks when dealing with PPI claims............or maybe this is wishfull thinking. Guess who my claim is with?

In terms of getting the whole refund of premiums, interest and 8% back, not just a pathetic goodwill gesture payment then yes I agree that they are one of the fairer banks.
