Car Parking Cardiff - Cheap or Free

I need to visit Cardiff Castle this Sunday - all day. Anyone know cheap/free parking nearby please?

It's not free anymore. But it's only £3 for 5 hours or £3.50 for 10 hours in the long stay section so it is probably your best bet. See:

Some of the residential areas just outside the city centre are free parking areas and are only 5 mins walking distance from the castle. There is a car park I use all the time just outside of the centre. It's used by a bingo hall, it is free to use and it is on the road leading to the castle so no chance of getting lost lol.

If you go to Google maps and enter the numbers 51.480666, -3.195021 into the search box, it will show you the exact location of the car parkand. It is just off Wellington Street. To get to the castle from here, you just come out of the car park onto Wellington Street, turn left, and follow this road into the centre, you can't miss the castle.

Edit - also, if this car park is full, many of the surrounding roads have free parking areas so it should be easy to find somewhere within 5 moins walking distance of the city centre.
