I have quite a lot of jewellery, mostly newish stuff from Dorothy Perkins and Next, also some lovely handmade pieces (not made by me).
I have about 50+ necklaces, 3 bracelets and some unworn earrings.
Just wondering whats the best way to sell it, ebay? Carboot?
If ebay in lots or singulary?
Thanks in advance!

I'd say carboot is your best bet,
Jewellery seems to go for so little on ebay, that by the time fees and postage are taken in to account, you would probably get more at a boot sale.0 -
I garee, I don't think ebay is an option for run of the mill jewellery items but they often go quite well at car boots.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You can be lucky on ebay...I listed a Topshop brooch that I had paid £6 for but never used. It sold for £46! Wish I'd had a few more of them!
I've always done ok with Topshop and Accessorize jewellery but other brands don't seem to fare so well.0 -
I buy loads of DP jewellery on ebay as i can normally get it a bit cheaper, maybe test a few on ebay and see how it goes? might as well, doesnt cause much harm or cost really. if it doesnt sell well carboot.
to be honest at a car boot i wouldnt pay much for the jewellery0 -
Can I make a suggestion.....invest in some tissue paper and/or gift boxes....
take it along to a table top sale and you will sell your jewellery as people look to get Christmas presents...!!Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
Wow Lobell, that amazing! Bet you were well chuffed!
I think I may test a few of the nicer pieces on Ebay first then and see how they go, I think there's a few Topshop pieces in there, not sure on Accessorize though, think they're all in my 'to keep' pile.
Also the tabletop/gift box idea is a great one, just need to find out whats going on in the area.

Some brands of cotume jewellery seem to sell wells o I think it's worth trying some of it on Eby. I went to a 'birthday party' at my local White Stuff store and was given a White Stuff necklace in the free goody bag. It wasn't my style so I sold it on Ebay for £12.0
