Very dangerous store to go into if you like furniture/ interiors. It's mostly seconds

    None of its seconds.
They stock the exact same stuff as TKMAXX but more of it.

    Its the best shop ever.

I love this shop! My honest description is that on first appearance the shop slightly resembles a jumble sale or a house clearance, as the shop appears to have much too much stock everywhere and it can be a bit claustrophobic. However... if you don't let that put you off it has some amazing items and absolute bargains.

I actually work for a rival "home" store, and whenever a customer wants an item that we don't sell rather than just saying no, I ALWAYS direct them to the nearby Homesense store to buy it there. ;)

It's the sort of shop where you go in expecting a lot and come out with nothing!

  • It's a fantastic shop but my local one doesn't do much furniture. It's more decorative stuff, mirrors, pictures, bedding, towels, ornaments and kitchenware. I try not to go in too often cos it's dangerous, you want to buy it all.

I would recommend if you see something you like buy it there and then cos it'll be gone if you go back later, and they often won't have the same thing again.

For furniture, Ikea is excellent IMO.

Well I visited the new one in London today and I was disappointed with the amount or should I say lack of furniture. They had a small amount dotted around the store but they all had sold stickers on them.
It is a great shop for finishing touches for your home, loads of mirrors, cushions, and a good lighting section.
It was not a wasted journey though as I picked up a framed print I had been after for ages.

This sounds like my kind of shop!!!

Does anyone have a list of branches - where they are?

I am in Staffordshire, but visit relatives in Sheffield and Essex occassionally!

    thanks in advance!
