Ruby Lounge, Kings Cross

I have always walked past Ruby Lounge because it looks like it is too expensive for the likes of a Northern new-comer to London but was nicely surprised when my boyfriend took me. It is a really funky place to kick-back and relax for a chilled-out early evening drink without paying central London prices. Unfortunately as it got later, groups of really annoying people came and totally ruined the atmosphere for us, bumping into us and screaming over us. But I would definitely go again when I’m in a drunken, annoying mood!

I went to Ruby Lounge bar in Kings X the other night. Me and my mates were having a great time - just celebrating the evening with a few drinks. The only people who didn't seem to be enjoying the place were a pair of Norvern povs, who had a right mardy look on. Still - might go back another time when I want to annoy people by being a grump.
