trojan in archived files!!!!!!

Hi can anyone help me and advise how I can get rid of thie trojen, this is what came up when I used a trojen killer.


Unable to clean trojan file C:\Documents and Settings\Bernie\Desktop\bernie\Driver - Samsung.zip/Guide.exe because it is contained in an archive

Renamed file C:\Documents and Settings\Bernie\Desktop\bernie\samsung\Driver\Setup.exe to C:\Documents and Settings\Bernie\Desktop\bernie\samsung\Driver\Setup.exe.tcf
Renamed file C:\Program Files\SAMSUNG\EasyStudio\Internet Access\Internet Access.exe to C:\Program Files\SAMSUNG\EasyStudio\Internet Access\Internet Access.exe.tcf
Trojan cleaning finished.

If you have a Samsung mobile phone Trojan killer is seeing this as a false positive.

Because it cant see this as Samsung software kinda thingy ma bob.

Well it basically means that Trojan Killer thinks that something that is really OK is not thus chucking up a False Positive or Negative in your case a Neg as the program is OK but TK thinks it isnt.

Have you any Samsung software at all?

Yes my husband added his samsung cd that came with his phone.
Do I need to uninstall it and scan again?

Nah I would say that all is ok and not to worry, just do a housecall scan if your that worried.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ if asked to install stuff just go ahead as housecall is ok.

Thanks a lot I appreciate this,it has been driving me nuts all week I have done everything I can think of to get rid of it.

Its just most likely the Samsung drivers and program throwing up the odd one, personally I wouldnt worry a hoot about it.

Hi when I started to scan a pop up said house call did not define a native binding.?? any ideas

Normaly I wouldn't but the pc is going crazy,either really slow.logging me out every 2 minutes or things disapearing or appearing etc.

Dont have two Antivirus at the same time.

You run Antivirus in safe mode.
