to work or not to work - help!

can anyone help...?

single parent, 3 kids under 16, currently working 30+ hours per week (not great pay), claiming WTC, CTC, and receiving child maintenance - not keeping head above water financially plus running myself ragged to the point of illness -
really need to find out how i would stand financially if i worked much less hours, or even did not work for a while, in terms of entitlements, etc -
problem is, cant seem to find advice and/or caculation that would give me an idea of how i would stand regarding the whole picture (LHA need tax credit income, tax credits need LHA income, etc etc ..)
really struggling to find someone who will help me with the whole thing - before i lose the will to live!

GRATEFUL FOR ANY IDEAS thanks x

Your local CAB should be able to do a benefits check for you, assuming you have not already contacted them already.

How under 16 are your kids? New rules came into effect and the ages of your children may pose a problem.

As Zara said, how old are your children, or your youngest child?

Are you renting privately or from a Council/Housing assoc? Do you share it with any other adults?

How many hours would you be looking to work, what would your income be roughly, and would you need childcare?

And is your child maintenance more then £20 per week?

If you don't want to answer on here then you could put your details into https://www.entitledto.com or visit the CAB, as Healy said.
