  • Hi,

As Natwest closed one loan and opened a new loan everytime we added to the original amount we had to claim for 8 seperate loans. However we put them all in one letter and gave them the following reasons for complaining from the template letters:
This is due to the fact that I was not given the correct information when the policy’s were sold to me, as
    • your salesperson stated that taking out the policy would assist my credit application.
    • your salesperson did not tell me that the policy was optional.
    • your salesperson implied that taking out the policy was essential for me to get the associated and,
    • your salesperson did not give me full information on what the policy would and would not cover.
And this reason, which was not on the template, but we thought would help in our claim.
    • When each loan was renewed, it was not explained to me that I did not need the policy.
The thing is all of the above were true, which is why I suspect they paid out the goodwill gestures! I have also just looked at my partners credit card bill (which were paying off with some of the money) and have noticed there is a ppi payment comming out that neither of us knew about!!! Its £3 something a month so not sure wether to push our luck again..............

Well done, that is a great result. :)

So do you think you should ask for the loan agreement before claiming?
