i use the sainsburys grated bags of cheese'. it is fab for sauces, tops of pies, pizzas etc. so much cheaper than buying a block.
i don't like the taste on it's own in a sandwich but a toastie sandwich when it is melted is very nice.0 -
We buy ASDA grated cheese, which is as above cheaper than the blocks, but its not as nice for sani's.
Its perfect for pasta bake topping and cheese on toast as it tastes fine when cooked.
Think they use some presevatives on it to keep if fresher whena lready grated.0 -
The nicest we had was sainsburys basics mozzerella and their own grated cheese (not the basics) which we mixed together.. came in much cheaper for the 2 bags than a huge block and there was loads! dd loved it and she can be picky with cheese.0

sainsburys basics mozerella cheese which sells for about £1.10 is tasty and melts and is proper mozerella unlike the tesco one which is dry knob cheese variety0
