Can You guys out there recommend a good surge protector to safe guard a new expensive pc that I have just bought?

I use a Belkin Surge Protection strip, which came with a lifetime insurance guarantee covering all connected equipment. Not sure if they still come with that insurance, but it's worth having if they do!
Whichever model you go for, make sure that there is a modem protection option on the unit if you have a modem connection.0 -
I've looked at the Belkin SurgeMaster 8-Surge Protected Sockets Tel / Fax / Modem / AV Protection, priced at £23.25 at Amazon. It appears to be a good buy to me. What are your views?0

Looks similar to, but more advanced than, the one I have.
I think it is worth £23 for the peace of mind it gives, and the £175,000 insurance cover it provides !

Many thanks for your sound advice LincsLad. I shall now go ahead and buy the piece from Amazon.
Cheers!0
