Charged £30 delivery when choosing Free Delivery
Comments

I'll check when I get home.
What happens if someone like DHL have tried to deliver and it's at their depo?
Does that mean I can still refuse delivery?
And if it's in the T&Cs that a small charge is applicable in the event of returns, is this still applicable for refusals/cancellations?0 -
Op i have just looked on the site and it looks like it was your mistake, on the checkout it gives you the option of free or next day delivery on in stock items £30 , the free delivery is already ticked, but as soon as you clicked the calender this has chosen express delivery, i would accept your mistake and move on

I wouldn't chance refusing delivery as part of your cancellation either as the seller can charge you for the goods getting back to them (they can deduct from the refund the direct costs to recover the goods).
It might be worth ringing them to discuss how best to cancel the order so that it costs you the least amount possible and then reorder on the free delivery option.0 -
Or how about the OP accept there mistake and take it on the chin ?0

I could take it on the chin I suppose.
But I would expect a final checkout process to show you that you will be charged £30 delivery and it be reflected in the final overall cost.
Every other website I've ordered from does.
Also, by clicking on Free Delivery and then choosing a date further down, nothing changes.
So I've basically chosen both options, and they've decided to apply the express delivery option.
Seems unfair and somewhat fraudulent to have a final checkoiut process not reflect the overall cost.0
