Is anyone fixing for another year?

I am on Eon's SaveOnline dual tariff. The prices for their FixOnline3 are the same but have a 2% additional discount. But how are prices going to move in the next year. We all know that energy prices SHOULD be coming down - but the energy providers have just warned us that they expect prices to rise. Doesn't make sense at all. Are people fixing?

I am on EON price protection v14 and i am changing to EON Fixonline3.This will be very slightly dearer because i am on such a good deal at present.

I was a bit concerned at first but have been told that if EON prices do drop then i can change to a cheaper tariff with no penalty.There is a £30 penalty only if i change supplier so this seems a good deal.
