Capital one £1000 credit limit now £1500

I have got my 4th statment today and its gone from £1000 to £1500 for those that were wondering before.

Nice one , well done!my limit has stayed the same for years - £500.00 - since intially going up from £200.

Capitalone tend only to increase the limit once with the classic card. The terms will change soon and from the 1st of November you will be able to ask for a credit limit increase.

Where did you hear this info?

I have not had an increase for 16mths

limit went from 1100 to 1700 on my 4th statment.

It's on the leaflet they sent with my last statement about changes to terms and conditions.


Important Changes to your Capital One Credit Card Agreement

The changes to your terms and conditions will take effect from 1st November 2009.

Clause 19 will be amended to read as follows -

19. Variation. We may from time to time change your credit limit. You may request us at any time to to consider an increase or decrease to your credit limit.

interesting too , never increased mine since the 4th statement some years ago.Having said that I use and pay it off every month.
