How is that going to enhance your pc if it is inside your casing
Buy a normal fan and that should sort out your noise problem.Mags - who loves shopping0 -
I have a working pc fan, but this one claims to be QUIETER........Read God's Word the Bible Daily and your love for God will Grow ... jw.org0

I doubt it really is that quiet. If you want a quieter pc, get a decent quiet fan from quietpc.comUbuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

They are a little bit expensive, but decide what part you want, then search around for the same part for less0 -
The standard by which to judge a fan - assuming that it is properly built and reliable - is how much air it can shift for how little noise.
When I last researched it, by far the best at this was the iXtrema range from SilenX. Nothing else came close to matching them.
(They even make some with LED lights, if you really want those.)
Consider. The 80 mm fan in your link moves 23 cubic feet of air per minute and makes a fairly noisy 22 dB-A.
By comparison, the Silenx iExtrema 80 mm fan which moves 24 cf/m emits just 11 dB-A and its 80 mm fan which moves 32 cf/min emits only 14DB-A. That's hugely better.
I needed a 120 mm fan and bought one of these, from Special Tech. It throughputs a seriously impressive 92 cf/min but emits a bare 18 dB-A. Virtually silent, it's been running 24/7 for two years in an Apple G4 Power Mac tower and has proved to be absolutely brilliant.
I tried the aforementioned Quiet PC but they don't stock SilenX fans (well, they didn't when I was looking for one) and nothing that they did sell was nearly as good in terms of performance. (I did buy a Zalman laptop cooler from them, though, and that was fine.)
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

There was a review of fans in Custom PC magazine recently (either this month or last month's edition).
If I remember correctly, Sharkoon Silent Eagle fans were highly recommended. I've bought a couple for my new PC build and they are really quiet, while still moving a lot of air.
You can probably get even quieter ones, but I suspect that they don't shift as much air.
Hope this helps...0 -

A similarly priced option that would do better in terms of noise reduction would be the matting thats going on ebay shops for about 8 quid (or PC world for about £20) doubled up with a few cardboard/rubber washers between all the screws holding in drives etc. Think the mattings callad akasa paxmate or something similar, you stick it to the insides of your case.0
