I have applied and got my post office card today with a 0% balance transfer rate for 9 months. but the limit is only 1000.00
How can i get them to increase it?

Phone them and ask. Most credit card companies otherwise review it every 6 months.
They may be able to say why it is so low... it could be that as they have no guarentee that you will be consolidating debt that they see the number of credit lines you have at the moment and simply add this ontop of them rather than considering you will be canceling at least one of them. Also make sure any credit lines you no longer need are actually cancelled and not just dormant.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
