OP I agree and I'm soooo annoyed I want to email P&G to request an explanation why - but can I find an email address??? of course not and the contact email link on their Lenor website isn't working aaaargh

I thought it was just me going crazy thinking it had changed. It now smells like nit lotion to me, i have eight huge bottles to get thru as i bulk buy, i ended up buying a sainsburys own to wash the bedding in as i couldnt stand the smell on the sheets
  • currently using white vinegar - very cheap, no smell (except fresh clothes), soft clothes and no gunk in washing machine!

I have always had my doubts re: white vinegar as a fc. For a start it would work out a lot more expensive (for me as have no access to buy large bulk buy) and surely the amount you use would have no effect anyway?

I do give my washing machine and dishwasher a clean out with white vinegar occasionally but I use a whole bottle (500mls).

How much do you use as a fabric conditioner? I really understand though that some people just don't like the artificial smell of fc, whereas I do. :)

Re: recommendations for fabric conditioner. I am currently mad for Fairy Almond Milk and Honey. A friend of mine was using it and it smelled divine. Bit expensive though at £4.09 for a 2 litre bottle. It was great when I found 1 litre bottles in Poundland! I could only carry two though as had so much other shopping.

The fairy softner is on offer in Asda at 2 for £3.00 or £1.58 each at the moment.....

After recently having started to use fabric conditioner again. I have been told that you shouldn't use fabric conditioner when washing towels. Is this true?

I thought it was just me.:T
