New Fragrance Lenor

I bought a bottle of Lenor as I have done for many years but upon using it I realised they have changed the fragrance to Spring Awakening, which is the one I use. I will not be buying this again and will be changing to Comfort as the over-powering after smell is absolutely horrible and smells of herbs.

I have had to rewash all our towels and bedding as it was disturbing our sleep it is so smelly - yuk.

  • thats strange cos i was the opposite I always used to use comfort but now i use lenor..i think after a while your smell senses change because I really couldnt smell comfort now I can defin smell the lenor.
im tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!

I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it :D
  • You could try another wash just using half the usual amount of lenor. I find the new lenor is too strongly fragranced, but half (or less) is fine. - Makes it cheaper too :D.

    It's only a game

  • I was about to make a posting asking for fabric conditioner recommendations - whilst I wasn't working it was one of the things I economised on and I cannot for the life of me remember which I liked best - any suggestions?

Well since avoiding the new Lenor I like Comfort Pure concentrate - £2 for 1.5 litre at the moment.

I buy whichever of the 2 is on good offer or is the cheapest. If the trolley is on a major shop and there are no special offers, supermarket own brand wins.
  • I've recently started using the Tesco Daisy one - tried all the fragrances and they are fine, not overpowering - just a touch of fragrance and nice soft clothes.

Re: recommendations for fabric conditioner. I am currently mad for Fairy Almond Milk and Honey. A friend of mine was using it and it smelled divine. Bit expensive though at £4.09 for a 2 litre bottle. It was great when I found 1 litre bottles in Poundland! I could only carry two though as had so much other shopping.

I haven't used a fabric conditioner for years since I have a sensitive skin but recently I bought Sainsbury's Gentle concentrated fabric conditioner. I think it was 80 pence or so for 750 ml and so far I must say it's been great to use. There is only a hint of a smell which makes me think of shea butter.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

  • OP I agree and I'm soooo annoyed I want to email P&G to request an explanation why - but can I find an email address??? of course not and the contact email link on their Lenor website isn't working aaaargh
