double statement - i need advice Plz

I have a virgin credit card- i pay monthly online.

due to all the "responsible lending" malarky they cut my limit from 11k to 8k when i was like less than £100 from that amount...

last month, i have the good old we're going to crank up your interest rates, or you can opt out and just pay of your balance and then by the time you 97 you'll have no virgin card- so i opted for that thinking its best in teh long run for it to be gone but anyways for the last three months i've gone over my limit EEEEK and i've phoned them and said can you explain how much i need to pay to not be charged all these £12 and i get- we're not allowd to - i'm Seething-

so i didn't get a statement last month, i logged on EVERYDAY to see, and then got one today and they have doubled everything, my minimum payment is massive and there is no way i have that much money lying about at the end of the month, let alone the beginning!!! but i'm like hello, its not my fault they didn't draw a statement, he tried saying i had moved my payment date- i hadn't!

i spoke to them before and they were so useless, told me to call a department that is shut- great -

i really don't know what i'm meant to do, there is no way i can afford double the payments, and didn't know that they could do that? surely thats irresponsible lending on their behalf?

any suggestions? Ta

You say you did not get a statement last month and so made no payment. This month you did get a statement and they want double the minimum payment. Cannot see how you are any worse off. But I may have not understood.
