Because people post these offers on MSE and other people, (who perhaps dont need teething gel, but are constantly watching MSE because they don't have cranky teething babies to tend to) then buy it all

Yay me too! Got some goodies for my little baby!!
  • Thanks for the heads up. I have arranged to collect at my local store.

Below the bonus points, my receipt says "Your points are available for collection 5 days after your order has been despatched and will remain available for collection for 12 months after that date. You can collect your points by inserting your card into a Boots Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosk in one of our larger Boots stores."

Is it really the case that the points aren't automatically credited to my account? I very much doubt the tiny store I am collecting from counts as "...one of our larger Boots stores" and I don't want a rigmarole to get a few points.

As its not processed through their tills they cant credit your advantage card. So you pop your card into the advantage card machine and it comes up with your points there getting added on.
