If you're buying branded cartridges, I just found a complete set in a bubble pack in John Lewis retailing at about half of the cost of buying them individually. Worth a look for that.0

I'm also in the ink trade and can confirm that the cheaper the printer, the more likely it is that the cartridge supplied with the printer will not be full. I don't know of any lists of how much ink you get with new printers or if any manufacturer releases this data.0
