switching suppliers help

right im thinking of switching suppliers ive done it via uswitch.co however ive recieved an offer from scottishpower for a further 1% discount until 2010 ive got the prices hre between scottish power and edf but my heads done in trying to work out which is best so can someone help me prices include vat

scottish power

Gas first 1143 kwh a quarter is 4.406p then 3.481p for anything after that
Electricity first 225 a quarter is 15.481p then 9.293p anything after that

edf

Gas first 661kwh is 5.209p then 3.481p for anything after that
Electricity first 222kwh is 12.62p then 8.14p after that

looking briefly at it EDF will be cheaper(especially electricity) can somebody give me a bit of help with some figures.u switch had me down as saving £150 a year but when appliacation came through the DDebits were only for £64 a month not £84 like i put on application(thats is what i pay now so i dont go in debit to company
