If I'm selling only with no mortgage involved on my side shouldn't the legal side be quite easy?
Conveyancing-Warehouse seem ideal and are 50% cheaper than any of the quotes on TheAdvisory.co.uk.
Yes the legal side should be but I guess where I come from (ex agent) we only had an odd sale or so go through smoothly for those that had issues.
Is it a freehold house which should be ok. Whereas leaseholds tend to have their moments.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. In latter part of career specialising in commercial - mostly business sales.0 -
I had reservations about using an online/out of area company, but following lots of time spent on the net reading reviews (And there is some horror stories out there) I went with RMNJ. They were less than half the cost of the solicitors in my area and Emma Ormond has been contactable throughout the process. We had an issue with regards to a room being changed from a garage to a study/playroom but have managed to get indemnity and exchanged on wedneday - THANKFULLY!!. My sister is now using them for her flat and I have no problems recommending them to anyone else.
Dont see the need to use someone local, especially if sale online - all forms can be signed and posted.0
